Woodbridge is two damson trees the richer today! These beauties were planted on Collets Green.
We met a hitch when trying to dig down for support posts and hit concrete a spades depth beneath the surface causing a change of venue for the tree. It was a sizeable area and if there are any very local historians who might be able to enlighten us about it we’d be curious.
We were ably assisted by Mollie the collie who was in charge of sticks and thanks to Deb, Jane, Ethna and Hilary for coming along to help her.
