1 Local Food Project – discussed ways of continuing Project after leaflet, (almost all 5000 leaflets distributed), ideas suggested by Dan and Carol – a local food event in early (April/May?) 2022 e.g food fair/market, challenge restaurants to serve dishes using only local food, talks on subject of food, food films (consult Riverside cinema, tie in with restaurants as they did in 2019?), promote local food and drinks for Christmas meals and gifts, arrange visits to farms or other food producers. Support a revival of the Farmers’ Market?
Jane told us Greenprint Forum has organised an online event in November, discussion with East Suffolk farms and communities using sustainable farming methods. Could we publicise this as part of our Project? Opportunities to work with Woodbridge Town Council, WTC CEEC, Woodbridge Rotary etc. Peppy, Peter, Dan, Sara, Mel, offered to join Carol to form a Local Food Project working group. Need to arrange meeting ASAP as if we need to publicise event etc needs to be with free magazines quite soon. Carol will ask Pam and Jonathan if willing to continue with Project, Robin volunteered
