There are quite a lot of strawberries coming on. And the beans are climbing sensibly, the peas needed a bit of guidance. Blackcurrants coming on nicely too. Everything we planted is surviving lockdown!
Update from the 20th May:
Today, while maintaining 2m social distancing, the Library Edible Garden was planted up for the summer. So, leeks and chard out, compost topped up and sugar peas, courgette and French beans both dwarf and climbing planted. Strawberries and blackcurrants will be the first crops to harvest so do keep an eye on the garden and maybe take a bottle of water with you to help the plants keep growing.
