WHAT A TEAM!

Today, Transition Woodbridge teamed up with the Woodbridge Fifth Beaver Scouts, to plant two fruit trees on Westholme Close.

Transition Woodbridge provided the materials and the know-how, and the Beavers, assisted by their leaders and two indispensable older scout volunteers, provided the enthusiasm, energy and determination to get the job done!

We were cheered on by many local inhabitants, who are promising to care for the trees and keep them well watered.

A local eating apple called Thorpeness, grafted by one of our members is the smallest tree and a greengage from Katie’s Garden fills the second spot.

Roll over each picture to see what everyone is up to.

What great collaboration- well done team!

As one neighbour was heard to say ” it makes you proud to live in Woodbridge”.
