Transition Woodbridge borrowed a thermal imaging camera for two weeks and photographed a number of dwellings to help occupants understand heat loss from their buildings.
The first image shows that although the occupants had their window well under control there was considerable heat loss through the wall behind the radiator. This can be remedied by adding a simple reflective panel.
The second image shows a property with excellent insulation but some heat loss through upstairs windows and the chimney stack fed by a woodstove.
