We enjoyed another successful Repair Cafe on Monday at St John’s Church, Woodbridge. This collaboration between Transition Woodbridge and St Johns Church means broken items are repaired by volunteers so that they don’t have to be binned. This month saw the longest item repaired so far! – a wonderful old tree lopper: now newly repaired, sharpened and tested on the trees in the churchyard! Other items repaired since we started in September – a laminator, DVD, lamps, soldered broken arm in lampshade, hems sewed, buttons sewed on, leather bag handles mended.
The Repair Café runs on the first Monday of each month, 10.00 am- 12.00; next one Monday 6th January 2020. AND you can get a hot drink and scone whilst you wait at the Hub Cafe that runs every Monday at the same time.
