• Westholme Close was visited by 8 wonderful volunteers who planted two plum trees – Czar and Reine Claude Verte.
  • Planting at Melton’s Jubilee Green was helped along by children from Woodbridge Beavers. Thanks for all the hard digging, wormcare and litterpicking Jack and Henry!
  • We also replaced a greengage tree at Seckford Road, – a casualty of the drought.
  • Two more plum trees were planted on the green at Colletts Walk today, with at least another two planned.
  • We planted on the junction between Burkitt Rd, Hasketon Rd and Grundisburgh Rd.

A special thanks also to Deb who orders all the tree, many from Swans Nursery at Eyke. She also provides all the tools needed to make a good job of securing the trees.

The pale coloured wood shavings are kindly donated by the long shed – each one chipped off from mighty oaks with their hand tools. Go along to the Longshed at Whisstocks to watch them at work.
