We are pleased to be able to tell you that the last of the 20 fruit trees donated by Woodbridge Rotary have been planted in Fen Meadow, literally just before the lockdown started!
The 5 apple trees (Charles Ross, Suntan, Jupiter, Nutmeg Pippin eaters) had been grafted by the now closed Crown Nurseries in Ufford and we hope that walkers on their daily exercise will be able to enjoy their blossom soon. We also hope they will eventually be quite large trees at they are on vigorous root stock.
