Fabulous fruit

Over the picking season, Transition Woodbridge members picked 179 boxes of fruit and produce! These were mostly apples, and also potatoes, beans, plums, grapes, crab apples, quinces and pears, from gardens and orchards.

Thank you to the people who offered fruit – the harvest was exceptionally good.

Boxes of fruit were taken to lunch clubs, retirement homes, food banks and a community cafe.
