DESCRIPTION:On Saturday 28 June\, from 10am to 4pm\, Transition Woodbridge will present Woodbridge and Melton’s very own Open Wild Gardens! \nThis year is the year of the pond. There will be open gardens with a range of ponds\, from large to tiny. If you have ever thought about building a pond\, come and find advice and inspiration. \nThere will be friendly volunteers to direct you from garden to garden and you are sure to find tea and cakes along the way\, and a small plant sale at 6 Fynn Rd\, Woodbridge IP12 4LS. \nPlease note that dogs are not permitted in these gardens and that generally there will be areas of uneven pathways or terrain. \nFind out all about the Open Wild Gardens event\, including a map of the gardens\, addresses and descriptions.

Chat to us about creating your own! \nThis is the first in a series of four drop-in events\, all at different venues and times\, over the Summer\, designed by Suffolk Wildlife Trust with Transition Woodbridge and Woodbridge Town Council to help you to create a pond – the most incredible gift for wildlife. \nCome and be inspired by the lovely ponds at Woodbridge Prep School\, who have been kind enough to let us show them off on their behalf. Chat to us and work out how to overcome potential barriers to creating your own pond\, or how to help a pond that needs some love\, in your garden\, space or work. Please bring photos or videos of your garden or space (on your phone is fine). \nThis event is part of the Transition Woodbridge Open Gardens event. You do not need to book\, just turn up. \nPlease note there will not be parking or toilets and no dogs are allowed. \nMeet inside the Cumberland Street entrance gates to Woodbridge Prep School.
