SUMMARY:Wildlife Live Webinar - Dormice Discovery
DESCRIPTION:Join Dr Simone Bullion as she explores the little-known world of Suffolk’s magical hazel dormouse. \nSuffolk Wildlife Trust’s webinars take place midweek evenings from 7pm via Zoom\, and can be enjoyed in the comfort of your own home. We cannot see nor hear any attendees\, so you can relax! But everyone is invited to ask questions via the Zoom Q&A panel at the end of the presentation. \nHazel dormice are a secretive\, native small mammal that is becoming endangered in Britain. \nThis webinar will cover their unique ecology\, how we study them and what actions are needed to help address their decline. \nSimone has an almost lifelong interest in hazel dormice and has led landscape-scale initiatives in Suffolk to restore their habitats and trialled new survey methods to help detect them. She is also the co-author of the 3rd edition of the Dormouse Conservation Handbook\, to be published in 2024. \nFind out more and book.
