Wildlife Live Webinar – Transforming Worlingham Marshes
November 26 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
£3 – £10Join us to discover the transformation that has taken place at Worlingham Marshes and what is possible in the future.
Suffolk Wildlife Trust’s webinars take place midweek evenings from 7pm via Zoom, and can be enjoyed in the comfort of your own home. We cannot see nor hear any attendees, so you can relax! But everyone is invited to ask questions via the Zoom Q&A panel at the end of the presentation.
A missing piece of the Suffolk Broads landscape for wildlife and people, Worlingham Marshes is at the very beginning of its journey from a private grazing marsh to a nature reserve.
Since securing the land in the winter of 2023, we have already seen a thrilling array of wildlife including kingfisher, merlin, short-eared owl, marsh harrier, otter, and grass snake – giving us a sense of the potential the reserve has for wildlife.
Join Lewis Yates, Worlingham Warden, and Vicky Eyles, Wilder Communities Officer, for a talk about the transformation of Worlingham Marshes and the surrounding work with local landowners and community members to increase nature connection and improve the area for both wildlife and people.
