Wild About Wickham
May 17 @ 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Free
Residents in Wickham Market are invited to a free event to learn more about celebrating biodiversity in their gardens!
Organised by the Framlingham, Wickham Market, Kelsale, Yoxford and villages Community Partnership, the next Wild About Wickham event takes place on Saturday 17 May at Wickham Market Village Hall (12-4pm).
Come along for free advice and information from Deben Climate Centre including the Four Rivers Recovery Project, Transition Woodbridge, GreenprintForum and other local environmental community groups. You can also learn how to increase biodiversity in your garden, including advice on growing trees.
There will also be creative activities for children, including a crazy container competition – simply bring along your upcycled, decorated container and the team will help plant it up with bee friendly plants. There are small prizes for the craziest container.
A raffle and plant-based refreshments will also be available from a pop-up café.
