Wild About Spring

Join us on Saturday March 28th at Campsea Ashe Village Hall, opposite the railway station (IP13 0PT).
Blue badge parking at Village Hall. Parking at Station or Clarke & Simpson’s Auction House.
Free event — no need to book — but donate if you can. Come for all or part of the day.
11.00 am onwards on the Community Garden:
• See how our Hotbed grows out of season salads.
• Bring and share — swop surplus seeds, plants, pots, books and magazines. Anything for gardens or wildlife.
• Make bug houses, bird boxes and feeders — instructions given, materials provided.
Bring a picnic lunch or sample the delights of the Duck pub or the Station House.
2.00 pm in the Village Hall: Wild About Swifts: Simon Hooton from the Suffolk Bird Group shows us what your village can do to Save our Swifts.
3.00 pm: Refreshment break.
3.30 pm in the Village Hall: Wild About Weeds: Rachel Fulcher, author of The Weed Lover’s Calendar, shows us why we should love our weeds.
4.30 pm: Finish.
