Talk: Four Rivers Recovery Project: Regenerating East Suffolk’s river landscapes

Community-led planning for the restoration and sustainable management of East Suffolk’s rivers.

East Suffolk Council and Deben Climate Centre have created a partnership to address some of the problems which beset our rivers. With loss of attenuation capacity and disimproving water quality, we now face a dramatic increase in flooding frequency, with catastrophic impacts on communities along the length of the district. The 4 Rivers Recovery Project aims to create local community-led plans which will involve all stakeholders, in a radical effort to adapt our landscapes to meet these new threats.
