Community Day at Foxtail Meadow

Ecotherapy East are holding their next Community Day on Saturday 2 August on Foxtail Meadow. Time for reciprocity with the Meadow and connecting with one another and the rhythms of the inner and outer nature.

Come for as long as you wish.

Morning: Lammas ritual with meditation and a labyrinth walk. Lammas is a festival of gratitude as we harvest nature’s bounty.

Late morning until about 4pm: land-tending. Depending on the weather. We go easy.

Nick Jackson from our team will guide attendees to:

• Create single bee habitats
• Create a reptile refuge
• Engage in a butterfly count (they are loving the creeping thistles and the buddleia in our garden)
• Scythe some areas to reduce the thistle and encourage other wildflowers to spread. There’s a spare scythe for those who wish to learn. Rob will be able to show you.
