CLIMATE CONVERSATIONS THURSDAY 29 JANUARY New Stre CLIMATE CONVERSATIONS THURSDAY 29 JANUARY New Street Market 8pm

A space to speak from the heart about the impacts of climate & ecological change and the multiple, interrelated crises.

Both globally and in our community, we see the changes and feel the uncertainty. It can be overwhelming to hold these concerns alone.

Join us in the cosiness of the New Street Market middle room. This is not a therapy group, but a supportive circle where we can honestly share our worries, grief, and hopes for the future.

Here, you are invited to:

· Give voice to your feelings in a confidential, paced environment.
· Listen and be heard by others who share your concerns.
· Find strength in our common humanity and shared experience.

This isn’t about having the answers. It’s about finding the support to move from anxiety to action.

Super sad this morning as 2 of the fruit trees at Super sad this morning as 2 of the fruit trees at Fen Meadow had been vandalised. One lost fruiting buds when the cage structure was pushed over onto the stem; the other had branches broken when the posts were ripped out and thrown across the grass. It's very dispiriting when you're trying to save the planet🌍 🥲

A dog walker reported it to us as she knew we cared for the trees so we were able to turn round an horrible situation and restore the cages and prune the broken branches. We're so grateful to all who follow what we're doing and luckily we were able to deal with this quickly.

🎶 HERE WE GO A-WASSAILING AMONG THE LEAVES SO GREE 🎶 HERE WE GO A-WASSAILING AMONG THE LEAVES SO GREEN 🎶

A group of us gathered round the 6 apple trees Transition Woodbridge has planted in Fen Meadow to sing and share wishes of health and prosperity for 2026. We thanked each tree with a drop of cider after highlighting their benefits - beauty of blossom, clean air, juicy fruit, shade in summer, being able to climb them (from a 5yr old). We walked to the Cherry Tree to warm up with hot drinks and cider refreshments afterwards where Martin, Malcolm and Richard led our singing playing a mixture of wassailing and familiar songs. Thanks guys! Thanks to everyone who came! WAES HAEL!!
