Scattered Orchards in Through Duncans and Hall Farm Road
Members of Transition Woodbridge and residents of Through Duncans recently turned out to plant two apple trees donated by Woodbridge Rotary. The residents are also going to help with watering the trees in the summer months during their first 3 years and eventually will be able to enjoy the fruit from them! This is a new scattered orchard (read more about our scattered orchards project here).
We are also excited to report that we will be planting another 4 donated by Woodbridge Rotary in Hall Farm Road for the residents there to enjoy. This will also be a new scattered orchard. At the time of going to press we are getting all the equipment needed together and will shortly be planting.
